PURPLE SECTOR RACING – LMGT3 SEASON 5
Starts 17th March 2026 • Every Tuesday • 6 Rounds
Purple Sector Racing returns for LMU Season 5, bringing another six rounds of clean, competitive GT3 racing. This season will feature an interesting mix of trans-continental events spanning Qatar (WEC), Monza, Silverstone, COTA, Fuji and Barcelona (once released) in exciting, 60-minute contests. Make sure you select the right car for the challenge, as we do not allow changes during the season.
🚗 CAR CLASSES

LMGT3 split into two classes:
- PRO – for the more experienced drivers looking for a rewarding challenge
- AM – for the novice & intermediate drivers still learning the ropes
- To ensure close, competitive racing, please note that admin may move drivers between classes once their skill level has been assessed.
🕒 EVENT FORMAT
- 19:20 (UK time) server launch
- 40 mins Practice
- 10 mins Solo Qualifying
- 60 mins Race
- No mandatory pit stops (pit lane open for tyres and fuel)
- Tyre warmers disabled
- 2 x Tire Wear
🧑⚖️ RULES & STEWARDING
We operate full post-race stewarding with clear expectations: race fair, race respectfully, and look after your fellow competitors. All in-game penalties stand as issued by LMU’s server.
The process for submitting incident reports is set out in our Discord Server. Protests may be lodged after the race ends and will be considered by our stewarding team only if in the correct format.
